After the restoration of the plaque to general Girard in Saint-Amand in June and of the Polish memorial in July, the ACMN (Association pour la Conservation des Monuments Napoléoniens) has restored/cleaned 8 more monuments/plaques/memorials on the Waterloo battlefield. We are still looking for funds to finance the restoration of the vandalized 8e de Ligne monument. You can see all before/after pictures here : http://napoleon-monuments.eu/ACMN/Restaurations2012.htm Our association, the ACMN (Association pour la Conservation des Monuments Napoléoniens), is still looking for someone who could become a correspondent in Poland. That person is expected to inform us of everything that is happening in Poland concerning monuments of the Napoleonic wars. Maybe even, if possible, lead restorations of monuments in Poland with our help. That person should communicate with us in French, English or German. (Sorry, I don't speak Polish).
