Riflemen, means the best riflemen of infantry; they were organized in so called "Kompanie wyborcze" - "Chosen companies". In polish Army of Duchy of Warsaw each battalion had 2 companies: of grenadiers and of riflemen. The uniforms of riflemen was similar to the fusiliers.
